Inspired by the hassle he encountered while trying to buy certain hardware materials such as windows, doors, gates, etc. for his home, in the year 2014. Mr. Tayob Jooma focused his creative energies on starting a new business that will help solve availability issues of these products in his hometown, Butha-Buthe. He then started a company called TJ Group of Companies. His aim was to produce every product that can be fabricated using aluminium and glass. He started off with windows and doors.

After the very first year in business, the company was already recognized nationwide, in Lesotho. A lot of big projects were coming in from Maseru, the capital City of Lesotho. The Company then realised the need for Electrical Supplies and Transport. TJ Group is now one of Lesotho’s elite companies with a very wide range of electrical products such as Cables, insulators, transformers, etc.

As the founder and CEO of TJ Group of Companies, Tayob’s drive, determination, and leadership have seen him build a successful enterprise that provides high-quality electrical supplies, powerline hardware, and aluminum fabrication services to the people of Lesotho.
